Which size should I knit?
Choose by the chest measurement: XS 89, S 93, M 98, L 102, XL 107 and XXL 111 cm all round. The lower edge is wider than the chest — 99 to 121 cm — because the back is knitted wider than the front.
Will I have yarn left over?
The kit holds 10 balls of glacier blue, the amount for XXL. XS, S and M use 8 and L and XL use 9, so the smaller sizes have one or two balls to spare. One ball each of lagoon, bottle green, galaxy and black covers every size.
What does the kit with needles contain?
Addi needles: 4.5 mm (US 7) circular needles in 40 and 80 cm, a 4 mm (US 6) circular needle in 40 cm, a 3.5 mm (US 4) circular needle in 80 cm, and 3.5 mm (US 4) and 4.5 mm (US 7) double-pointed needles.
How are the short rows worked?
Twice, both across the back. First at the lower edge, to make the back longer than the front, and again after the yoke chart, in bottle green. When you turn, you wrap the yarn around the next stitch so no hole forms; the pattern gives each turn in stitches from the marker.
What is half twisted rib?
Knit one stitch through the back loop, purl one, and repeat. It is used for the 8 cm cuffs, on 3.5 mm double-pointed needles, and for the four rounds of the neckband.
