Skjaldmær, Skjoldmøy in Norwegian or Shield-maiden in English, are women who have chosen to fight as warriors alongside men in Scandinavian folklore and mythology.
This knitting kit includes all material needed to make your own traditional Icelandic pullover sweater: Skjaldmær, sweater made of Fjallalopi, designed by Vanja Blix Langsrud a Norwegian knitting designer, Vanjastrikk. Vanja is known for her modern and stylish knitwear. She specializes in creating sweaters and cardigans inspired by old traditional patterns.
Includes: Pattern in English, Knitting needles*, Fjallalopi yarn needed to make the largest sweater.
