How it is knitted
The cardigan is knitted in two halves. Each half — body and sleeve — is knitted in the round from rib with border patterns up to the underarm, then joined, and half of the yoke is knitted from a chart; the left body and yoke are air blue with a fjord blue sleeve, and the right half the other way round, with navy and white in the patterns. Steeks at centre front and centre back are machine-sewn and cut, the edges are finished with single crochet and crocheted button loops, the back is sewn together from the neck to the end of the yoke, and the front, and the back below the yoke, close with buttons.
Design: Védís Jónsdóttir — pattern from Lopi No. 40 (no. 14), Ístex.
