Which size should I knit?
Six sizes, XS to XXL, with a chest of 89, 93, 98, 102, 107 and 111 cm (35 to 43¾″) all round. Pick the one nearest a sweater that fits you; the body is 40 to 46 cm to the underarm and the sleeves 47 to 53 cm.
The pattern shows green and brown — which kit colour is which?
Keep to the chart letters: dark grey heather is A, the main colour; white is B, used for the ribs and in the yoke; brick is C and apricot is D. The last page of the pattern shows this grey sweater with its colour list.
What are the rolled edges?
The hem and cuffs are cast on in dark grey and knitted for 4 rounds before the white rib, and the neck ends with 5 rounds of dark grey after its rib. The pattern says to let these stocking-stitch edges roll up.
Will I have yarn left over?
The kit holds the XXL amounts: 9 dark grey and 3 white. Size XS uses 6 dark grey and 2 white; S and M use 7 dark grey; L and XL use 8 dark grey and 3 white. One ball each of brick and apricot covers every size.
What does the kit with needles include?
