The Puffin Lopapeysa is a charming Icelandic-style sweater featuring bold colorwork and a whimsical puffin yoke. Designed by Olga Begak, this design uses Léttlopi yarn to create a warm yet lightweight garment with classic Nordic character and modern playfulness.
The sweater pattern is also available in children's sizes.

Knitting needles & notions
Circular needles 3.5 mm (80 cm) and 4.5 mm (80 cm).
Stitch markers, stitch holders, and a darning needle are also required to complete this pattern. Please note that these items are not included in our kits, so make sure you have them on hand or purchase them separately before you begin.
Gauge
18 sts × 23 rows in stockinette stitch = 10 × 10 cm using larger needles after blocking.
Construction
Body and sleeves are worked in the round from the lower edge to the underarms, then joined to knit the colorwork yoke in the round. Short rows shape the back before finishing with a ribbed neckband.
