What's in the kit
Síðsumarskápa — the Late Summer Jacket — is a long, swingy coat knitted in Léttlopi, here in the soft mossy-green colourway: moor green with black heather bands and accents of chocolate, frostbite, oatmeal, rough sea and dark grey. Patterned bands at the yoke and hem, moss-stitch front bands and collar, patch pockets and clasp closures make it an Icelandic take on the classic summer coat. Knitted in the round with a cut front (steek).

- Long, and wider at the hemThe body is 84–90 cm long to the underarm and 9 cm wider at the hem than at the chest, drawn in by decreases at the sides.
- Seven colours in the bandsMoor green carries the body; the patterned bands at the hem, cuffs and yoke bring in black heather, chocolate, frostbite, oatmeal, rough sea and dark grey.
- Pockets and a folded collarTwo patch pockets are knitted separately and sewn on, and the moss-stitch collar is backed with stocking stitch and folded to the inside.
