Síðsumarskápa — the Late Summer Jacket — is a long, swingy coat knitted in Léttlopi, here in a deep brick red. Patterned bands at the yoke and hem, moss-stitch front bands and collar, patch pockets and clasp closures make it an Icelandic take on the classic summer coat.

- Long enough to be a coatThe body measures 84 to 90 cm from hem to underarm, widening a little toward the hem, and the pattern lets you stop at the length you want.
- Seven colours at the hemA deep band of black, rust, violet, grape, bottle green and lagoon runs round the brick red hem, and the same colours climb through the yoke.
- Moss stitch and a folded collarFront bands and collar are in black moss stitch. The collar is knitted 7 cm in moss stitch and 7 cm in stocking stitch, then folded to the inside.
- Two patch pocketsKnitted separately with a moss-stitch top edge and sewn on about 2 cm above the hem pattern.
