Jólaskjól - Christmas Tree Skirt - Knitting Kit

Jólaskjól is a festive Christmas tree skirt with traditional Icelandic colourwork — finally the holiday tree gets its own lopapeysa. Designed with Nordic homes in mind that celebrate life, winter solstice and Christmas, it is knitted in the round from the outer edge in toward the center, with a steek opening so it wraps around the tree, finished with crocheted button bands. The colourwork pattern is charted only.
