Hlekkur - Black Full Zip Wool sweater Knitting Kit

Black colored full-zip lettlopi wool cardigan. Body and sleeves are worked in the round from lower edge to underarms, then joined to work yoke in the round. The front opening is cut open.

This knitting kit includes all material needed to make your own traditional Icelandic sweater: Hlekkkur, sweater made of Léttlopi, designed by Védís Jónsdóttir

The knitting pattern and the genuine Ístex lopi yarn for the design. On most kits you can add needles as an option at no fuss.

Which yarn do the kits use?

Most use Léttlopi — the classic lopapeysa yarn — while some designs call for Álafoss Lopi, Plötulopi or Einband. Each kit page says which.
