How it is knitted
Knitted from the neck down, with one strand of Plötulopi and one of denim heather Einband together. It starts with a rib collar, shaped with short rows at the back; the yoke is increased from a chart in bands of winter blue, spruce green and clover green; then the sleeves and the body are knitted in the round, with purled steek stitches at centre front, and finished with rib. The steek is machine-sewn and cut, the edges are covered with single crochet, and the button bands are picked up and knitted in rib, with five buttonholes.
Design: Védís Jónsdóttir — pattern from Lopi No. 42 (no. 3), Ístex.
