Which size should I knit?
The sizes are meant to be worn with 5–10 cm of ease. XS to 5XL fit a bust of about 80–85 cm up to 140–150 cm, and the finished sweater measures 83 to 154 cm around the bust (32¾–60¾″). The designer’s example: if you measure 100 cm around the bust, knit L, which measures 111 cm.
How much of each colour does my size use?
9974 light grey tweed: 4 balls for XS and S, 5 for M and L, 6 for XL and 2XL, 7 for 3XL and 4XL, 8 for 5XL. 0051 white: 2 balls for XS to L, 3 for XL to 4XL, 4 for 5XL. 9964 golden heather: 1 ball for XS and S, 2 for M to 2XL, 3 for 3XL to 5XL. The kit holds 8 grey, 3 white and 3 golden — enough for XS to 4XL; 5XL needs a fourth ball of white.
How is it knitted?
From the bottom up in the round. Body and sleeves each start with k2, p2 rib in white and a band from chart A, then they are joined and the round yoke is knitted from chart B. The neckband is k2, p2 rib on 4.5 mm needles, and the underarms are joined with Kitchener stitch.
How do I say Čoarvegiella?
The designer writes it as tshor-va-giella — and adds that it is hard.
What does the kit with needles include?
ADDI needles in the sizes the pattern names: 6 mm (US 10) circular needles in 40 and 80 cm, 4.5 mm (US 7) circular needles in 40 and 80 cm, and 4.5 mm and 6 mm double-pointed needles.
