Good to know

Armur — your questions, answered

What exactly is it?
A shrug: two sleeves joined by a back panel, knitted in one piece from wrist to wrist — 150 cm long, 46 cm deep at the back. The pattern says it can also be worn as a scarf.
Will I have yarn left over?
The kit holds the pattern’s amounts: 6 balls of apricot and one each of pink, galaxy, mimosa, crimson, spring green and glacier blue — 12 balls.
Why don’t the two cuffs match exactly?
The first sleeve is knitted from the wrist up and the second from the shoulder down, so the cuff pattern comes out slightly different. The pattern says to knit both sleeves from the wrist and graft them in the middle of the back if you want them identical.
Are the two wrist edges different colours?
Yes, as printed: the first sleeve starts with a pink rolled edge and the second ends with a glacier blue one. Use the same colour at both wrists if you prefer.
What does the kit with needles include?
4.5 mm (US 7) circular needles in 40 and 60 cm; 3.5 mm and 4.5 mm double-pointed needles — ADDI, as named in the pattern.
