KIRKJUFELL - Icelandic Handmade Chocolate

Dark and caramel chocolate topped with sweet dried cranberries, desiccated coconut and coconut flakes, pumpkin and sunflower seeds, and salted peanuts. Every piece is different: fruit, then seed crunch, then a salty peanut against the chocolate. It's the most familiar-tasting of the Anna Marta bars — a good trail mix that happened to land in chocolate.

The maker says the blend came first, years ago, and was too good not to share. Made by Anna Marta, an artisan chocolate maker in Iceland, in a series named after Icelandic landscapes. Kirkjufell is the arrow-shaped mountain on the Snæfellsnes peninsula.
