Eitt Sett - Noi Sirius Milk Chocolate with liquorice

Eitt Sett: Síríus milk chocolate with pieces of Icelandic liquorice set inside — 25% of the bar. The chocolate is creamy and mild (cocoa solids min. 33%); the liquorice soft and mildly sweet, so the two meet in the middle. If Þristur is the caramel version, this is the original.

Eitt sett means "one set". Decades ago Icelandic children started buying a Síríus bar and a liquorice strip and eating them together; Nói Síríus put the pair into one bar — among Iceland's oldest, and the start of the chocolate-and-liquorice thing. Nói Síríus, Reykjavík, since 1920.
