Traditional Icelandic Chocolate Tromp Bites – Puffin Gift Box (130g)

Bite-size pieces of soft liquorice with a delicate coconut filling, coated in smooth Nói Síríus milk chocolate. Creamy chocolate first, then the chew of the liquorice, then a sweet, faintly nutty coconut note — three textures in a mouthful, and very Icelandic in its refusal to choose between chocolate and liquorice.

Tromp bites are a Nói Síríus classic (Reykjavík, chocolate makers since 1920); this edition puts them in an illustrated gift box named for Iceland's most-photographed seabird, the puffin.

Good to know: 130 g gift box · milk-chocolate-coated liquorice with coconut filling · contains milk; the ingredient list isn't on this page (liquorice usually means wheat), so always check the box · keep cool and dry.

How people buy it: as a ready-wrapped souvenir or thank-you gift, the puffin item in a box for someone who has been to Iceland, or a small present that needs no wrapping.
