
Stjörnuljós — Knitting pattern
Original design by: Védís Jónsdóttir — Stjörnuljós means Starlight, symbolizing shared garments between parent and child. Its yoke features a striking star motif in bold contrast shades, knitted in robust Álafosslopi.

Knitting needles & notions
- Circular needles 6 mm (40 and 80–100 cm)
- Circular needles 4.5 mm (80–100 cm)
- Double pointed needles 4.5 mm and 6 mm
Gauge
13 sts and 18 rows = 10 × 10 cm in St st using 6 mm needles. Check gauge and adjust needle size if necessary.
Construction
Body and sleeves worked in the round from lower edge to underarms, then joined to work yoke in the round with a star motif chart. Neckband worked in rib and folded to the inside. Traditional finishing steps included.
