Ris — Knitting pattern
Ris (“Attic”) revives a striking archival motif in a contemporary poncho. Knit mostly in the round with a secure steek at each side, the piece finishes with folded facings and a clean ribbed collar.

Circular 4.5 mm (80–100 cm); circular 3.5 mm (40 & 100 cm); 2 clasps.
Gauge
18 sts × 24 rows = 10 × 10 cm in stockinette on 4.5 mm needles.
Construction
Work two facings in Einband, join with purled steek stitches at each side, then knit the colorwork body in the round. Secure and cut steeks; finish borders and ribbed collar; block.
