Penzyme, a pure, super-active proteinase from cod, is sold in Iceland as an enzyme ointment called PENZIM gel or lotion. The PENZIM ointment is a soothing, moisturizing, cleansing, and nourishing skin healing treatment for dry or chapped skin. It also has good qualities as an “age-specialist” product for facial skin, and rejuvenates whole body skin by removing the outermost layer of dead skin cells.
Ingredients: PENZIM® Lotion spray: Glycerol, aqua, trypsin (Penzyme®), alcohol, tromethamine, calcium chloride and acetic acid.
