Noi Sirius - Traditional 45% Dark Chocolate

A plain dark bar done properly: 45% cocoa, a clean snap, and a smooth, even melt with bourbon vanilla behind it. It sits close to the classic Icelandic cooking chocolate (suðusúkkulaði), but the texture is finer and it eats better on its own — a square with coffee rather than a chunk off the block.

Made by Nói Síríus in Reykjavík, chocolate makers since 1920, using traditional techniques. The paper wrapper carries an image of Icelandic nature, so the bar does double duty as a souvenir.
