Knitting needles & notions
3 mm (US 2) circular needle 100 cm; 4 mm (US 6) circular needle 100 cm; 3.5 mm (US 4) circular needles 40 & 60–100 cm; 3.5 mm (US 4) DPNs.
Gauge
20 sts and 28 rows = 10 × 10 cm measured over St st using 4 mm needles. Check gauge and adjust needle size if necessary.
Construction
Shawl is worked in the round. The first and last 10 stitches form the fringe when unraveled. Work decreases each round at both ends adjacent to the pattern, per chart and instructions. Finishing includes machine-sewn reinforcement along the purled chains before cutting, then unravel fringe and block.
