Hraglandi — Knitting pattern

Hraglandi (“Sharp Snow Showers”) is a classic lopapeysa with a striking all‑around yoke. The body and sleeves are worked in the round from the lower edges to the underarms, then joined to work the charted yoke. The pattern provides shorter/longer options for both body and sleeves so you can tune the fit. Finish with a neat folded neckband and block to measurements.

Knitting needles & notions
- Circular needles 5.5 mm (40 & 80 cm)
- Circular needles 4.5 mm (40 & 80 cm)
- Double pointed needles 4.5 mm and 5.5 mm
Gauge
14 sts and 19 rows = 10 × 10 cm in St st using 5.5 mm needles and 2‑ply Plötulopi.
Construction
Cast on the body with color B, work 4 cm of k1, p1 rib, then change to 5.5 mm needles and begin Chart 1, increasing 6 sts in the first round. Work even in color A to the listed length. Knit sleeves in the round per Chart 2 to length. Join body and sleeves, then work the charted yoke decreases to the neck. Finish with ribbed neckband; graft underarm stitches and block.
