Góa - Dark Chocolate Raisins

Plump California raisins panned in Icelandic dark chocolate. The shell is smooth and properly dark, so the first taste is cocoa; then the raisin comes through soft and sweet, and the two even out. More-ish in the way only chocolate raisins are — one handful becomes the box.

Icelanders call these Góu rúsínur, or simply súkkulaðirúsínur, and they come from Góa, the confectioner in Hafnarfjörður — a couple of streets from our warehouse. There's a milk-chocolate version too if you prefer them sweeter.
