Gata — Knitting pattern
Gata (“Path”) traces quiet lines across a long, graceful cardigan. Knit in Einband, the fabric blocks beautifully with crisp columns of knit and purl forming the path motif. Decreases travel alongside the texture for a flattering A‑line that meets a classic raglan yoke.

Circular needles 4 mm (40 & 60–100+ cm); circular 3.5 mm (40 cm); double‑pointed needles 3.5 & 4 mm.
Gauge
22 sts × 32 rows = 10 × 10 cm in stockinette on 4 mm needles.
Construction
Work sleeves and body in the round with purl “seam” columns and charted texture on all pieces. Shape with regular decreases alongside the pattern; join for raglan yoke and finish with neckband and clean edges.
