FJAÐRÁRGLJÚFUR - Icelandic handmade chocolate

The unexpected bar of the set: dark and caramel chocolate topped with roasted edamame and fava/butter beans (crunchy, salted, lightly spiced), soft dates dusted with liquorice powder and a hint of piri piri, and desiccated coconut. Sweet chocolate, savoury crunch, and a warm, slightly salty finish — it reads like a snack board pressed into a bar.

Made by Anna Marta, an artisan chocolate maker in Iceland, in a series named after Icelandic landscapes. Fjaðrárgljúfur is the winding, moss-covered canyon in South Iceland.
