What's in the kit
Wool Felt Elf Figurine White
Hand made of felted Icelandic wool. The wool felt figures are handcrafted and made from 100% Icelandic sheep wool. Most of the needle felted figures are inspired by Icelandic mythological creatures, and made in the image of animals and people from Icelandic culture or folklore.
Size approximately 12cm / 4.7in
Álfar are elves in Icelandic folklore. Building projects in Iceland are sometimes altered to prevent damaging the rocks where they are believed to live. According to these Icelandic folk beliefs, one should never throw stones because of the possibility of hitting the elves.
