Draumur — Knitting pattern
Original design by: Védís Jónsdóttir
Draumur, meaning “dream,” is a lightweight lopapeysa worked in Einband yarn. The diamond motif in the yoke adds delicacy, while the wider sleeves and neckline give a contemporary look. A matching scrunchie pattern is included for a coordinated set.

Knitting needles & notions
4 mm circular needles (40 & 80 cm), 3.5 mm circular needle (80 cm), 3 mm circular needle (40 cm), 3 mm & 4 mm double pointed needles, 3.5 mm circular needle or dpn for scrunchie, thick elastic hair tie.
Gauge
22 sts and 32 rows = 10 × 10 cm in St st using 4 mm needles.
Scrunchie: 26 sts and 35 rows = 10 × 10 cm in St st using 3.5 mm needles.
Construction
Body and sleeves worked in the round, joined to form a seamless circular yoke with diamond motif. Neckline finished with seed stitch band. Includes separate scrunchie worked around elastic.
