Dagmál — Knitting pattern

Dagmál is a sweet, practical cardigan sized for little ones. The body is worked flat to the underarms, sleeves are knit in the round, and all pieces are joined for a patterned yoke worked back and forth. Button bands and a neat neckband complete the tidy finish.

Knitting needles & notions
- Circular needle 3.5 mm (60 cm)

- Double pointed needles 3 mm and 3.5 mm
- 5 buttons
Gauge
22 sts and 29 rows = 10 x 10 cm in St st using 3.5 mm needles.
Construction
Sleeves are worked in the round. The body is worked back and forth from the lower edge to the underarms, then body and sleeves are joined and the yoke is worked back and forth. Neckband and button bands are picked up, with five buttonholes spaced from neck to body rib.
