Riding the Soft Sands 
For centuries, the Icelandic horse was the only means fo transportation in Iceland as well as being a valuable working animal. It was therefore referred to as "the most useful servant". Farmers still use the horse to gather sheep, but nowadays most horses are kept for leisure and competition. The Icelandic is a fascinating breed with exceptional qualities. It is a sturdy, resilient, good-tempered and adaptable breed, which displays five gaits and a great variety in coat color.
An increasing number of people enjoy the unspoiled nature of Iceland from the back of a horse. Riding tours are an unforgettable experience and a unique way to explore the country. Each rider often travels with several horses, resulting in a lively herd of loose horses accompanying the travelers.
One of Iceland most spectacular riding paths lies in Þingeyrarsandur in Northwest Iceland where the pictured herd runs. The sandy reef separated a freshwater lagoon from the Atlantic Ocean. The path takes you form the historic place Þingeyrar and across Bjargaós inlet to Vatnsnes peninsula. Along the way, riders come across various bird species and seals can sometimes be seen resting by the inlet, awaiting of a salon or trout.

The front of the cushion cover is made of 100% cotton satin with high quality durable smudge-free textile printing. The satin has a matt-finish and feels very soft and comfortable. The back is made from sturdy 100% cotton twill in black color. The covers have a zipper on the back.

The cushion covers are sold without a cushion (filler) and each cover is packed separately in a beautiful gift box. 

The cushion covers are made by Icelandic dairy farmers that live in a farm in Northern Iceland. They specialize in high quality textile products and their main product line consists of various types of cushion covers with photographs from the Icelandic nature.
