Two non-alcoholic beers brewed in Iceland: Bríó Wheat Ale No. 75, hoppy and aromatic with Mosaic and Citra notes, and Egils Gull 0%, a golden Munich-style lager. Both are brewed with pure Icelandic water and contain 0.5% alcohol or less.
Is this beer really alcohol-free?
Both contain at most 0.5% alcohol by volume — the standard threshold for non-alcoholic beer — so they're sober-friendly and suit designated drivers, dry months and anyone who simply likes the taste of a good beer without the alcohol. The flavor is the point here: these are proper Icelandic brews, just without the buzz.
