Góa - Milk Chocolate Raisins

Plump California raisins panned in Icelandic milk chocolate. This is the sweeter, creamier sibling of the dark version: the milk chocolate melts first, then the raisin arrives soft and jammy. Kids pick this one; adults claim to prefer the dark, then eat these anyway.

Icelanders call these Góu rúsínur, or simply súkkulaðirúsínur, and they come from Góa, the confectioner in Hafnarfjörður — a couple of streets from our warehouse. The dark-chocolate version is sold separately.
