Could anything be more beautiful than the colors they make Lettlopi in? Shipping to US took less than a week, and despite cost, still very economical to buy direct from Iceland in quantity. It knits up in a surprisingly bigger gauge than you might expect and then blooms to fill in the space, so take that into consideration. Then you get a lovely light warm sweater. Or you can knit it more tightly and it's practically waterproof. All wool is magic. But icelandic is extra-special :)

Not yet used the Grape Heather colourway but it is, like all the heathered Lopi yarn, just exquisite. I use Lopi yarn a lot and love its warmth and sturdiness. This is the first time I have bought from the Icelandic Store and cannot recommend it more highly. Living in Australia I am used to waiting three weeks for yarn to arrive from overseas. But not anymore - just under one week and the yarn is on the doorstep. What wonderful service. My friend who lives nearby had exactly the same experience and recommended your store….we won’t go anywhere else…two very happy customers!
