The Yule Lads have fascinated me for a while now, and I've been looking all over for some good decorations of them... I was thrilled to come across this set! I'm impressed by how quickly they shipped to the US from Iceland, and all the lads and friends arrived intact and look amazing. I ordered in early December and they even came in time for the start of their "visitation" dates! A delightful, playful addition to my Christmas decor.
I first became interested in the Yule Lads on a recent trip to Iceland. I found them in the store but could not bring them home with me. I ordered them from your store was surprised that the arrived in just a week after placing my order. Ther are wonderful. I can't wait until Christmas to display them.
The Yule Lad figures are great! I recently visited Iceland and knew that I wanted them when I saw them in a store in Reykjavik.
However, I have to say that the Icelandic Shipping Agent only declared the value to be USD 99.99. This caused a problem at the Belgian customs because they believed the value to be higher. This caused some delay and stress on my side until I figured out what to do. In fact, they just needed proof of the purchase price and then they released the package which was then delivered to me. However, it took several days.
Perhaps you can instruct your agent to declare the correct value of the shipment in future so that other customers don't have this experience.
I'm very happy to have the beautiful figures however.
We purchased the full set of the Yule Lads and are delighted! The artwork is wonderful, and they traveled from Reykjavik to Chattanooga Tennessee via DHL in less than a week in time to grace our dining room for New Year's Eve!
