Sambó - Kúlu-súkk
✓ No surprises on delivery — U.S. duties & taxes settled at checkout
Sambó Kúlusúkk: soft liquorice centres coated in a medium-dark Icelandic milk chocolate. The chocolate is creamier and a shade darker than a plain milk bar; the liquorice inside is soft and mild rather than salty, and the two melt together in your mouth. It's a bag you open "just to try one".
The name is Icelandic shorthand: kúla means ball, and súkk is what Icelanders say for súkkulaði — chocolate — when the whole word is too long. So: choc balls. Made in Iceland under the Sambó name, the liquorice brand behind Þristur.
Good to know: 230 g (8.11 oz) bag · liquorice balls in milk chocolate · contains milk; the full ingredients list isn't on this page yet, so always check the pack for the allergen line (liquorice usually means wheat) · keep cool; in summer we pack chocolate against the heat.
How people buy it: Þristur fans buy this next, and it goes into most of our chocolate-and-liquorice gift boxes. Icelanders abroad order 10 or 28 bags at a time (that's why those options exist).
