Above the bands the body and the sleeve tops are plain pink, and the hem, cuffs and neckband are red moss stitch, edged in navy. The matching hat in the photo is in the same leaflet and is sold as a separate kit. Three of the pattern’s colours are no longer made: this kit has 9434 crimson red in place of the light red (1408), 1703 mimosa in place of the sun yellow (1411) and 1702 milkyway in place of the lilac (1413).

Included

Icelandic Léttlopi wool yarn — yarn for the largest size is included, so every size is covered

Knitting pattern in English (PDF) — emailed right after purchase

ADDI knitting needles — only if you choose the kit with needles

Léttlopi — 50 g balls · sizes 3 (4 5 6 7)
A 9420 Navy Blue — 2 (2 2 2 2)
B 9434 Crimson Red (in place of 1408 light red) — 1 (1 1 1 1)
C 1404 Glacier Blue — 1 (1 1 1 1)
D 1406 Spring Green Heather — 1 (1 1 1 1)
E 1703 Mimosa (in place of 1411 sun yellow) — 1 (1 1 1 1)
F 1702 Milkyway (in place of 1413 lilac) — 1 (1 1 1 1)
G 1402 Heaven Blue Heather — 1 (1 1 1 1)
H 1412 Pink Heather — 2 (2 3 3 3)

Sizes — 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7. On 4.5 mm comes the 63-round body chart — little flowers, stripes, zigzags, small squares and key shapes in all eight colours; most rounds use two colours, a few use three — and then plain pink up to the armholes. There the body is divided into back and front, stitches are cast off at each side for the armholes, and the two pieces are knitted back and forth in pink; the front has a round neck, the back is cast off straight. There is no yoke. The sleeves are knitted in the round from the cuff, with the same red edge, their own 71-round chart and 2 stitches increased every 7th round, then finished in pink. The shoulders are joined and the sleeves sewn into the straight armholes from the right side. The neckband is picked up in red: 2 rounds of moss stitch, 2 of K1, P1 rib and a last round of rib in navy.

Design: Védís Jónsdóttir — pattern from Lopi No. 25 (no. 11), Ístex.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1662/1057/files/lopi25-tyra-cover-1_feaeb59b-0be1-4a34-bf00-fb514f8e1791.jpg?v=1790985837
