The body is cast on with 112 (120, 128, 136) stitches in two strands of dark brown on 4.5 mm and knitted in K1, P1 rib for 2 cm; the rib then goes on to 5 cm with one strand of dark brown and one of sea green — the marl that runs through the whole sweater — and the body is knitted in stocking stitch on 5.5 mm to 34 (36, 39, 41) cm. The sleeves start with the same rib on double-pointed needles and are increased 6 (6, 7, 7) times; at 29 (31, 34, 37) cm each gets the 11-round zigzag band in dark amber and dark brown, then goes on in the marl. Body and sleeves are joined, and the plain marled yoke is shaped with eight decreases every other round — at the four joins and on each side of a narrow strip along the top of each sleeve. Short rows raise the back of the neck, and the neckband is 3 cm of K1, P1 rib in two strands of dark brown. The underarm stitches are grafted.

Design: Védís Jónsdóttir — pattern from Lopi No. 26 (no. 18), Ístex.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1662/1057/files/lopi26-tat-1_f78199e8-f35a-4055-8add-c74e5557c685.jpg?v=1790996164
