The body starts with 3 cm of K1, P1 rib and 3 (3, 3, 4, 4, 4) cm of stocking stitch in light denim, then the 9-round zigzag band of chart 1 in indigo blue, white and light denim, and goes on in indigo blue to the underarm. The sleeves are light denim from the ribbed cuff up, with the same zigzag band just below the underarm. Body and sleeves are joined for the round yoke in indigo blue: a 34-round chart with four decrease rounds, from 138 (144, 150, 156, 168, 174) stitches to 46 (48, 50, 52, 56, 58); the smaller sizes leave out marked rounds. Near the top comes a white and light denim zigzag, a narrow indigo blue stripe and a light denim band.
