The cardigan is cut open at the front and finished with crocheted borders and eight buttons. Sizes S to XL. The body, 172 (182, 194, 210) stitches, starts with 7 cm of rib — one round k1, p1, one round knit — and is knitted to 36 (38, 40, 42) cm. The sleeves are cast on with 44 (46, 48, 52) stitches, have the same rib and are increased to 62 (66, 70, 74). Body and sleeves are joined for the yoke — 264 (280, 296, 312) stitches for the pullover — and two raglan decrease rounds at the four joins take it to 248 (264, 280, 296). The 44-round chart, an 8-stitch repeat with six decrease rounds, takes it to 62 (66, 70, 74); the smaller sizes leave out marked rounds. The neckband is 10 rounds of the same rib in colour D, bound off with two strands, and the underarms are grafted. The cardigan is cast on with 170 (180, 192, 208) stitches and its hem rib is worked back and forth; then two purl stitches are cast on at the front, making 172 (182, 194, 210), and it is knitted in the round the same way, with its own chart, to 65 (69, 73, 77) stitches and a neckband worked back and forth.
