The back and the front are cast on with 79 (83, 89, 95, 99) stitches in chocolate on 6 mm, and the sleeves with 41 (43, 45, 47, 47); each starts with 38 rows of two-colour slip-stitch pattern — chart 1 for the back and front, chart 2 for the sleeves — knitting one colour at a time for two rows (one garter ridge) and slipping the other colour’s stitches, with the yarn always on the wrong side. Then the pieces go on in chocolate garter stitch on 4.5 mm. The armholes are bound off in steps; the back neck is bound off straight across with 2 more stitches twice at each side, and the front neck is shaped by binding off one stitch at a time at the neck edge from 11 (11½, 12, 12½, 13) cm above the armhole. The sleeves are increased at both edges, and their tops are bound off in steps. The pieces are sewn together on the right side; there is no neckband.

Design: Guðrún Ragna Sigurjónsdóttir — pattern from Lopi No. 30 (no. 18), Ístex.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1662/1057/files/lopi30-ork-1_541bb97d-4132-4078-819d-f120fa9fe9bd.jpg?v=1791007133
