On 4.5 mm comes a 9-row border of crosses, then plain stocking stitch, then diagonal lines and diamonds in intarsia on the upper back and fronts, with the armholes and shoulders bound off in steps. Each front keeps 10 stitches of rib at its front edge all the way up, and the V-neck is decreased just inside them; the left front band has the buttonholes. Above the shoulder each band carries on for a few centimetres, and the two ends meet at the centre back of the neck. The sleeves are plain: knitted in the round from a 6 cm rib cuff to the underarm, then back and forth for a shaped cap, and set in. All the pieces are sewn together from the right side.

Design: Guðrún Ragna Sigurjónsdóttir — pattern from Lopi No. 32 (no. 8), Ístex.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1662/1057/files/lopi32-nordur-3_a08970e9-ab82-461e-8b41-47fbcdb77219.jpg?v=1790975642
