The hem is a two-round rib — a round of K1, P1, then a knit round — for 7 (8, 8) cm, on 188 (204, 220) stitches and a 4 mm circular. On 4½ mm, two 8-stitch cables, 2 stitches apart, are set 11 (12, 13) stitches from the start of the round — on the front, by the left side, as the photos show — and twisted every 10th round up to the pattern band. At 20 (22, 24) cm the body is decreased at both sides four times, every 6th round, to 172 (188, 204) stitches, and 10 rounds later increased again to 176 (192, 208). At 42 (44, 46) cm the 35-round chart begins. The sleeves have 54 stitches in every size and start with 2 plain rounds and a cuff of nine small cables, twisted six times; then they are increased at the underarm on 4½ mm to 60 (64, 64) stitches, and the chart begins at 37 (38, 39) cm. After chart round 25, body and sleeves are joined for the round yoke of 256 (256, 288) stitches, and the chart is finished. After a few plain chocolate rounds, the first with decreases, 24 (25, 27) small cables are set round the yoke, 6 stitches apart; each twist also takes a stitch away, and after six twists the cables meet (our reading of the counts), at 96 (100, 108) stitches. The neckband is 2 (3, 3) cm of K1, P1 rib, bound off in rib. The underarms are grafted.

Design: Guðrún Gunnarsdóttir Michelsen — pattern from Lopi No. 31 (no. 17), Ístex.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1662/1057/files/L31_17_Mora_Chocolate_Heather_lettlopi_wool_yarn_Knitting_kit_1_575d2ee7-2cb6-4cb3-bf90-a018e049b8ec.jpg?v=1791019182
