The body is cast on with 96 (102, 108, 112) stitches in green heather on the 4.5 mm circular and ribbed K1, P1 for 5 (5, 5, 6) cm, increasing to 108 (114, 120, 126) stitches on the last round; on 6 mm comes a 7-round zigzag border in black and white (6 rounds in the two smaller sizes), then plain green heather to 28 (30, 33, 36) cm. The sleeves start the same way on 4.5 mm double-pointed needles, get the same border on 6 mm double-pointed needles and are increased to 46 (48, 50, 52) stitches. Body and sleeves are joined for the round yoke — 168 (174, 186, 198) stitches, with 8 or 9 stitches at each underarm left on holders — and knitted from a 35-round chart of zigzag bands and a row of small white diamonds, in black and white, with four decrease rounds, down to 56 (58, 62, 66) stitches; the smaller sizes skip a few marked rounds, and the top of the yoke moves onto the double-pointed needles. The neckband is 7 (7, 8, 8) cm of K1, P1 rib on 4.5 mm, cast off loosely, folded in half to the outside and sewn down loosely so the cast-off edge shows. The underarm stitches are grafted.

Design: Guðný Pálsdóttir — pattern from Lopi No. 18 (no. 29), Ístex.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1662/1057/files/lopi18-29-1_41632e60-8eba-42b3-b776-146082d05489.jpg?v=1790999071
