Each hem starts in light ash on 5 mm: on the body 8 rows of stocking stitch knitted back and forth, on the sleeves 8 rounds, then a purl fold line. Next comes an 8-round border from chart 1 in light ash, light beige and white, still on 5 mm; body and sleeves then go on in white on 6 mm, and the sleeves are increased at the underarm. Body and sleeves are joined for the round yoke — a 40-round chart in all three colours with five decrease rounds, from 199 (207, 215, 231) stitches to 79 (82, 85, 91). The neckband is an 8-round band from chart 3 on 5 mm double-pointed needles, then a purl fold line and 7 rows of light ash facing. Two rows of machine stitching go up each purl stitch, and the front is cut open between them. The hems and the neckband are folded back along their fold lines and slip-stitched. The front bands are knitted separately in light ash, 8 stitches wide with one column of slipped stitches, sewn on, folded in half over the cut edge to the inside and slip-stitched, and six hooks close the front.

Design: Astrid Ellingsen — pattern from Lopi No. 12 (no. 8), Ístex.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1662/1057/files/lopi12-08-1_7341c6b3-6da6-4181-b7f2-43e8390f0aa4.jpg?v=1790994189
