The front is cut open and finished with ribbed bands and buttons. Five of the pattern’s seven colours are no longer made: the scarlet (0078) of the body, the cornflower (9303), the apple green (9212), the bright fuchsia (9010) and the goldenrod (9213). The leaflet prints only the codes; these are Ístex’s names for them in its Lopi 18 leaflets. This kit has 0047 happy red, 1233 space blue, 9983 apple green, 1240 dark magenta and 9964 golden heather in their place; black (0059) and white (0051) are unchanged. The body is then knitted in the round on 6 mm in happy red, with two purl stitches side by side at the centre front, straight up to the underarm — there is no border. The sleeves are knitted in the round from a ribbed cuff. Body and sleeves are joined for the round yoke — a 42-round chart with five decrease rounds; the smaller sizes leave out marked rounds. Much of the black is purled, which gives the yoke its texture. Two rows of machine stitching go into each purl stitch up the front, and the front is cut open between them. The ribbed front bands are knitted from the held stitches with a stocking-stitch facing that folds over the cut edge, and sewn on. The neckband is K1, P1 rib with the top buttonhole in it, folded in half to the inside and sewn down.
