The black sheep neckband is folded in and sewn down. The original pattern is by Guðný Pálsdóttir; Védís Jónsdóttir redesigned it and wrote the instructions. One colour version, in sizes XS to XXL. The body starts with 3 cm of K1, P1 rib in brick on 3.5 mm; on 4.5 mm comes chart 1, a border of 10 rounds (9 in XS and S, which leave out round 5) in black sheep, acorn and a barley zigzag, and then plain brick to the underarm. The sleeves start the same way on double-pointed needles and are increased under the arm every 8th round. Body and sleeves are joined and the round yoke is knitted from chart 2, 52 rounds with five decrease rounds, from 256 (264, 272, 280, 288, 296) stitches to 96 (99, 102, 105, 108, 111); the smaller sizes leave out marked rounds. The collar is 8 cm of K1, P1 rib in black sheep on 3.5 mm, folded to the inside and sewn down loosely, and the underarms are grafted.

Original pattern: Guðný Pálsdóttir.
