The first 19 rounds of the chart — black sheep stitches and small shapes on green, a row of small light beige diamonds with black sheep centres, and black sheep blocks — are knitted at the top of the body, just below the underarm. The sleeves start with 6 cm of rib on 5 mm double-pointed needles, are increased under the arm, and end with the same 19 chart rounds. Body and sleeves are joined, the chart goes on in light beige with small green dots for 8 (8, 8, 8, 8, 6) rounds, and then the raglan decreases begin at the four joins, with the 2 stitches at each join knitted in light beige; the dots repeat up to the neck. Short rows, turned either side of the centre front, raise the back of the neck while the raglan decreases go on. The collar is light beige: one round with decreases on 5 mm, 12 cm of K1, P1 rib, bound off loosely, folded in half to the inside and slip-stitched in place.

Original pattern: Astrid Ellingsen, Álafoss hf.
