The body is knitted back and forth from 5 rows of rib and narrowed by 2 stitches at each side, twice, on the way up to the underarms. Body and sleeves are joined on the 4 mm circular needle and the yoke is knitted back and forth from a 32-row chart: a band of golden yellow with a wavy top edge, a row of round yellow faces with white eyes and a white smile, then white to the neck, with five decrease rows from 163 (171, 179, 187) stitches to 64 (67, 70, 73); the smaller sizes leave out marked rows. The neckband is 5 rows of K1, P1 rib in white on 3 mm. The underarms are grafted, and the front bands are picked up and knitted in 5 rows of rib — golden yellow along the body and white along the yoke — with five buttonholes in the left band.

Design: Védís Jónsdóttir — pattern from Lopi No. 43 (no. 7), Ístex.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1662/1057/files/lopi43-bros-1_31ca4c8b-e1a5-4fa7-b9de-ac8a5b66baa4.jpg?v=1791005362
