Each piece is cast on in the blue (A) on 4.5 mm and knitted one row from the wrong side, which makes a single purl ridge — there is no rib at the hem — then goes on in stocking stitch on 6 mm from its chart, with an increase at the side edges at 13 (14, 15) cm and again 12 cm later. Stripe blocks run across the back yoke and, at different heights, across the two fronts. In these rows the blue is stranded with navy and garnet red Léttlopi held together as one strand, which gives a speckled navy-and-red stitch. The armholes and necklines are shaped, and the shoulder and side seams are sewn. Narrow garter bands in navy Léttlopi are picked up along the fronts. The collar is K1, P1 rib — 6 cm in the blue, 5 cm in navy and 2 rows in red — folded in half to the outside and sewn down stitch by stitch, so it shows navy with a red line at its base. The armholes get a purl round and a rib round in navy and a last rib round in red. The zip is sewn in by hand.

Design: Védís Jónsdóttir — pattern from Lopi No. 25 (no. 10), Ístex.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1662/1057/files/lopi25-bodi-1_ffe9e6b6-e632-49ea-854a-ec4828003f3e.jpg?v=1790999319
