The body is cast on with light denim Einband alone and knitted back and forth for 5 rows on 4.5 mm (the facing); then one row in white and yellow together, a row purled as seen from the right side (the fold), 5 more rows, and two purled steek stitches are cast on to join the round. On 5.5 mm the body is knitted to 27 (28, 29, 30, 31) cm from the purl row. The sleeves start the same way, but in the round from the first round, on double-pointed needles, and are increased every 7th round. Body and sleeves are joined for the round yoke, 211 (227, 243, 259, 275) stitches, and the 48-round flower chart, with six decrease rounds, takes it to 57 (61, 65, 69, 73); the smaller sizes leave out marked rounds. The neckband is knitted back and forth on 4.5 mm: 5 rows, a purl row, then 5 rows in light denim Einband. The steek is sewn twice by machine and cut; the front bands are picked up (3 stitches for every 4 rows) and knitted the same way — 5 rows, a purl row, 6 rows in light denim. The edges are folded to the inside along the purl row and slip-stitched down (the pattern names the neckband and the body and sleeve facings; the front bands are folded the same way — our reading). The underarms are grafted and the snap fasteners sewn on.

Design: Védís Jónsdóttir — pattern from Lopi No. 43 (no. 10), Ístex.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1662/1057/files/L43_10_Wisteria_Yellow_wool_cardigan_Blaregn_Knitting_kit_1_6bd290d1-74de-4995-a891-fb6153c7521d.jpg?v=1791011447
