It is slightly A-shaped, 56 to 60 cm from the hem to the underarm, with seed-stitch edges — worn as a short dress in the photos. It is a pullover, not a cardigan. One colour version, in sizes S to 2XL. The body is cast on loosely on the 4.5 mm circular and worked in 6 rounds of seed stitch, then in stocking stitch on 5.5 mm, decreased at both sides four times — 16 stitches in all — from 101 (110, 120, 129, 138) cm round at the hem to 90 (100, 109, 118, 128) cm at the chest, to 56 (57, 58, 59, 60) cm. The sleeves are cast on loosely in B+D on 4.5 mm double-pointed needles — 1 round of seed stitch, then 5 in A+C — followed by a 9-round band from chart 1 on 5.5 mm, and are increased — evenly in a plain round before the chart, then at the underarm — to 56 (59, 62, 65, 68) stitches. Body and sleeves are joined for the round yoke: a 48-round chart with five decrease rounds, from 208 (224, 240, 256, 272) stitches to 78 (84, 90, 96, 102); the smaller sizes leave out marked rounds. In both charts some of the ash-and-lavender stitches are purled; the purple ground is all knit. The neckband is 5 rounds of seed stitch in A+C and 1 round in B+D on 4.5 mm, bound off in seed stitch.
