The body narrows towards the chest, from 114 (126, 138, 150) stitches at the hem to 102 (114, 126, 138) at the underarm. Body and sleeves are joined for the round yoke, knitted from a 33-round chart with four decrease rounds, from 168 (180, 192, 204) stitches to 56 (60, 64, 68); the smaller sizes skip a few marked rounds. The neckband is knitted back and forth on 3.5 mm, which leaves a small opening at the neck; it closes with a small button loop and a button. The underarm stitches are grafted. Green version: the hem and cuffs are 4 rounds of moss stitch, the body is plain stocking stitch with two rounds of even decreases, the yoke starts with 2 plain rounds and the neckband is 4 rows of moss stitch. White version: the hem and cuffs start with 5 rows of garter stitch knitted flat before they are joined in the round; a 17-stitch eyelet panel runs up the centre front and the centre back and a 5-stitch panel up each sleeve; the body is shaped with decreases at both sides; the yoke starts with two garter ridges (purl 1 round, knit 1, purl 1) and the neckband is 4 rows of garter stitch. In the finishing, the garter-stitch ridges at the edges are sewn together on the inside.

Design: Védís Jónsdóttir — pattern from Lopi No. 29 (no. 3), Ístex.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1662/1057/files/lopi29-blaklukka-1_49418834-79af-448a-8115-89fb39381024.jpg?v=1790992316
